Education
From 2008 to 2010, I completed the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA program jointly offered by
Kellogg School of Management
at Northwestern University (USA) and the
WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany).
This two-year, part-time general management program integrated all managerial disciplines,
focusing on a synthesis of US and European management knowledge with a global perspective,
designed to foster the team leadership skills.
Previously, I completed in 2001 a
Master of
Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the
Georgia Institute
of Technology spending the first semester at its European platform
Georgia
Tech Lorraine, located in Metz, France, and the second semester on the main
campus, in Atlanta, GA.
In addition, Georgia Tech Lorraine offers
a double degree program that combines the Master's degrees from Georgia
Tech with advanced engineering degrees from French Engineering Schools. In
fact, I finished in December 99 my courses at
ENSEA, a
Graduate School in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, in Paris,
where I specialised myself in Networks and Telecommunications.
Before entering ENSEA, I spent two
years at one of France's most prominent preparatory schools, exclusively
concentrating on getting solid hands on mathematics and science. These
two years at Lycée Privé Sainte Geneviève, in
Versailles, near Paris, prepare us to high and competetive French Engineering
Schools.
Additionally, my engineering experience has not
been limited to the classroom during my studies but has expanded into the working world.
Throughout my education, I had relevant professionnal experiences dealing with
Internet, networks and telecoms from 1998 to
2001.

During the summer 1998, I created
the website of
Thomson
Broadcast Systems. The objectif of the 3-month internship, in Paris,
France, was the development of
http://www.thomsonbroadcast.com. I worked within the Marketing
Department and handled the overall project, from the competitive websites
analysis to the final validation of its contents. It was a great opportunity to
work with the different departments and collect the necessary information.
Moreover, I maintained the website, from September 1998 to December 2000. |

In the summer 1999, I worked during
3 months for Cegetel Group, the largest private telecommunications
operator in France. My internship took place in the Engineering Department of
the Société Française du
Radiotéléphone (SFR). I was given the opportunity there to
analyze GSM protocols at A / Abis interfaces, and to develop and
document procedures for these types of analysis, which required exceptional
organizational and interpersonal skills. Then I created a Microsoft Access
database used to improve the subsequent processing. This experience at an operator was
very beneficial, and was the occasion for me to improve my working knowledge of
the GSM standard, and to prove my ability to adapt quickly to new situations
and activities. |

From May to December 2000, I
completed a 8-month internship at
Ericsson Radio
Systems AB, in Stockholm, Sweden. I simulated the behavior of an IP-based
radio access network for a cellular mobile phone system. I developed, using the
Network Simulator, a simulation tool for the dimensioning of such networks. I
was studying network performances and documented different scenarios. It was an
excellent opportunity to attend seminars and technical courses on the latest
technologies : Bluetooth, EDGE, UMTS, GPRS, IP, Data Communications Networks...

From April 2000 to February 2001, I
was working for Moving International Technologies. I managed and guided the web
development of
Directmoving.com including the graphical design,
functionality, and content. I developped their website, using HTML, ASP,
Javascript languages, and the Flash technology. I got a great experience in
handling online databases, using database management systems, as MySQL. I was
also coordinating the new integrations with the different departments and
external partners. |
